First Gold of the Season!

Several days ago, while carrying out methodical excavations and recoveries at Corrigan’s Wreck (8IR 19/S25), Captain Grant Gitschlag and the crew of the M/V Lilly May (C-69), Mike Penninger, Adam Gitschlag, Sal Guttuso and Nick Amelio, recovered several small gold flakes. The first gold recovered for the 2021 summer field season on the 1715 Fleet-Queens Jewels, LLC wreck sites and the first day out for 2021 for the crew of the M/V Lilly May! Congratulations to the captain and crew of the M/V Lilly May!!
